We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Suffolk, Virginia, operating solely through the commitment of volunteers. Founded in 1982 under Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc., BCW has proudly served the community and has sent numerous teams to compete at the national level since 1995. We are a PYFCO (Penninsula Youth Football and Cheerleading Organization) association, and our program has consistently emphasized personal growth, teamwork, and the development of strong character in all participants. We believe that sports impart essential life lessons, and we are dedicated to fostering an environment where young athletes can learn, flourish, and achieve success both on and off the field/mat.

Our mission is to provide football and cheerleading opportunities for young athletes aged 5 to 15 within our community. We strive to make sports accessible to all children, regardless of their financial situation, by offering scholarships and financial assistance to those in need.

At BCW, we envision a future where every child has the opportunity to participate in sports, regardless of their background or financial means. We strive to build a culture of respect, resilience, and excellence both on and off the field. In addition to our regular season, we provide off-season training camps and workshops to help our athletes develop their skills and stay active. President

Reshawn L. Orr, originally from Orlando, Florida, brings over 18 years of community involvement to his role as Board President. His extensive coaching background and educational achievements highlight his commitment to youth development and sportsmanship.

Reshawn has served in the military for 17 years and continues his military career.
-Diverse Coaching: Experienced coaching youth football, Navy basketball, and high school teams in basketball, cheerleading, soccer, dance, and stepping.

Alexander Boothe, a dedicated member of the Bennetts Creek community and Vice President, was born and raised in Suffolk, Virginia. He spent an enriching 11 years in the Bennetts Creek area, where he developed a deep love for the community and its people.
After graduating from Nansemond River High School, where he excelled as a former quarterback for the football team and participated in basketball and track, he honed his leadership and teamwork skills. His athletic background instilled in him the values of discipline, perseverance, and collaboration.
Alexander is a proud father, and his children have benefited from the Bennetts Creek sports programs, further solidifying his commitment to nurturing young talent in the area. His passion for giving back is evident in his active involvement with the Bennetts Creek football and cheer organization, where he has become a valuable asset.

Justin Conyers
Football Coordinator

- **Nansemond River High School:** He was the Head Junior Varsity Coach under David Coccoli and significantly contributed to player development.

Brittany Joe is a proud 2013 King’s Fork High School graduate. Born and raised in Suffolk, Virginia, she spent her adolescence training and performing as a cheerleader. As a youth sports advocate, Brittany aspires to inspire and encourage the youthful athletes at Bennett’s Creek to create a community and grow within that community.

Hi! I'm Megan, a local business owner, cheer coach, and proud board member with Bennett’s Creek Football and Cheer. I’m passionate about supporting families in our community and helping kids build confidence—both on and off the field.
I’m also a proud mom of three amazing kids who are active in our football and cheer programs, which makes this organization even more special to me. Watching them grow, compete, and make lifelong friendships here is one of my greatest joys.
I own Rhea Lana’s of Chesapeake, a seasonal children’s consignment event that helps families shop, sell, and save on everything their kids need. I also help run Play It Again Sports-Virginia Beach, where we focus on giving gently used sports gear a second life—keeping kids active without breaking the bank.
I earned my degree in Business and Dance from Old Dominion University, and I love blending my creativity, organization, and heart for community into everything I do. Whether I’m cheering on the sidelines or organizing family-friendly events, I’m proud to be part of the Bennett's Creek family.

Hello, my name is Danielle, but most of you know me as Coach D. It brings me great pleasure to serve as the Competition Cheer Coordinator for BCW. Over the past five years, I have dedicated myself to coaching with BCW. I initially started my journey as a cheer auntie, and through that experience, I discovered my true passion for coaching and mentoring young athletes.
As we gear up for the exciting 2025-2026 season, I am thrilled to lead your girls on this journey. The Cheer Committee and I have been tirelessly working on several new initiatives and enhancements to our program, and we are eager to see our collaborative efforts come to life.

As the owner of a successful photography, videography, and graphic design business, Kiara specializes in families, weddings, and sports/lifestyle photography, bringing heartfelt stories to life through her creative vision. Her love for media and youth sports training further enhances her ability to motivate and connect with others, whether she's behind the camera or coaching young athletes.
Beyond her artistic pursuits, Kiara is a fierce fitness enthusiast with a competitive spirit. She proudly earned first place in her division at Iron Maiden’s women-only raw powerlifting competition and is actively preparing for her debut on the women’s physique stage. Richard Nowell
Concession Stand Manager
Richard Nowell was born and raised in North Carolina, where he dedicated 25 years to serving in the United States Army. Throughout his military career, he developed strong leadership skills and an unwavering commitment to teamwork and community service.
Richard has been an integral part of the Bennett’s Creek Football and Cheer Association for the past seven years. His contributions have extended across multiple roles, including serving as the field Commissioner, managing logistical operations for events, and as a coach for both the 10u and 12u football teams, fostering the skills and sportsmanship of young athletes.
Additionally, Richard has served as the head caterer for Sixth Mount Zion Baptist Church, where he organized and executed numerous community events, enhancing his culinary expertise and ability to coordinate large gatherings.
He brings that wealth of experience and dedication to his role at Bennett’s Creek, focusing on catering and concession services that meet and exceed the community’s needs. Richard is committed to being a pillar of support, ready to serve and ensure every event succeeds.
